The deadline for submissions to The Bucks Council New Local Plan has passed and Shabbington has responded in an emphatic way.

The Parish Council has been notified of at least 150 individuals that have given their time and knowledge to detail why this plan is not Positively Prepared, not Justified, not Effective, not Compliant and NOT right for Shabbington.

It is certain that many of the Village responses would not have been done without the material prepared by the Shabbington Local Plan Action Group (SLPAG) and their one to one help available at The Hut on several weekends over the last few weeks.  The Parish Council is very grateful.

The Parish Council engaged a planning consultant to work with SLPAG to produce our response which is accessible below.  Again the PC expresses its thanks for their work which has been complimented by our District Councillor.

Now we must wait for some months for the decision of the Government appointed independent Inspector.  Meanwhile developers are still free to submit plans in the normal way which will be considered, as always, to decide if they are in the best interests of our Community.
